mapping a portion of Peaks View Park

 

   For my GIS project I went to Peaks View Park and mapped portions of paths and a few of the sports fields and buildings. I used a GPS unit to take readings on longitude and latitude as I walked along the paths. I also took points around the perimeter of certain buildings and sports fields/courts. I also took gathered data about information that might be informative to other people visiting the park. I found out how many trashcans, tables, seats, and toilets were in each area that I took readings on.
