Alpha Radiation

Characterized by the short, bold bursts of radiation. They always appear close to their source

Beta Radiation

This type of radiation is the biggest type of radiation in both length and width and does not appear as close to its source. Under certain conditions the particles will bend and make interesting shapes

Gamma Radiation

The most dangerous type of radaiton, in the cloud chamber gamma radiaiton looks more like tiny strands of hair. They are like alpha particles in width but are longer and go a greater distance.

This radiation is funnel shaped. The particles are more densly arranged close to the source and spread out as the distance increases. Each particle formed looks like it is only a little dot.
