Guide
for importing data and programs on the TI-83 using TI-83 Graphlink software
To import data:
(Have you downloaded the TI-83 group (.83G) file and saved it to your hard drive or to a diskette? If not, download and save the file now.)
- On the computer, start the TI Graph Link 83
program. Make sure the calculator is connected to the computer with the gray wire plugged
into the bottom of the calculator.
- Make sure the calculator is on.
On the computer, go to the Link menu and choose Send.
In the next window, select the group file you want to import and
double-click it to add it to the list of files to send. Click OK.

The following window will appear when the list files within the group file have been
transferred to the calculator. (You might get a warning window if you already have lists on your calculator with the same names
as the ones you're transmitting. If you do, just select the "Overwrite All" option.)
These lists are now stored in your calculator. To access them, go to
and under the NAMES menu, select the name of the file you want to use; the name of each list is the same as the name of the list
file from the window above, but without the "L" at the beginning and the ".83L" at the end.
