College Admissions
CVGS Program Completion Pays
CVGS has been in existence for decades, and our graduates have been accepted at some of the finest colleges and universities in the country. In addition, each year our graduating class has been offered merit-based scholarships often totally between one and two million dollars. It is not uncommon for the CVGS graduating class to include a student (or students) who have been awarded a Jefferson Scholarship to the University of Virginia, a Parks Scholarship to North Carolina University, the Presidential Scholarship to James Madison University, or other full scholarships to notable institutions in the Commonwealth and beyond.
Faculty Recommendations and Transcript Requests
Forms are available in the CVGS office for students to request faculty recommendations or CVGS transcripts. The CVGS transcript not only includes an official record of the student's coursework here at CVGS but also includes a description of the CVGS program and specific courses. This CVGS transcript should accompany the student's home high school transcript in the college admissions process. Additional information on the faculty recommendation and transcript request processes can be found in the Student Handbook which is found on the website under the STUDENTS section.
