Employment:
My high school teaching career began at Liberty High School in Bedford in 1995, where I taught Physics courses ranging from Introductory Physics to AP Physics C E&M, and math ranging from Algebra 1 through AP Calculus BC, before joining CVGS in the summer of 2018.
On the side, I am a teacher for Virginia Aerospace Science and Technology Scholars (a partnership between NASA Langley Research Center and the Virginia Space Grant Consortium) and serve as an adjunct instructor at Randolph College, the University of Lynchburg, and Sweet Briar College.
Family:
I have been married to the most wonderful woman in the world, Kelly, since 1993, who I met in college at UCSB (I am a California native). We have two daughters, Hannah (CVGS class of 2018, Yale class of 2022) and Grace (current student at CVGS/Liberty High School).
As a family, we love to travel, and I have been to all but 3 of the states (Idaho, Oregon, Washington). Internationally, we’ve been to Europe, South Africa, Morocco, China and Nepal. When I’m not traveling, I love playing games of any type, and I love to watch and play soccer, in addition to other sports.
