Instructor: Dr. Charlie Jones (firstname.lastname@example.org)
A college level study of vector (multivariable) calculus which includes polar coordinates, analysis of vector-valued functions, analysis of functions of several variables, multiple integrals, and analysis of vector fields. This course emphasizes computational techniques, geometry, theoretical structure, and creative problem solving. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive 4 credit hours from the Central Virginia Community College.
Textbook: Calculus, by Larson, Hostetler, and Edwards (4th edition). We will also use the software package Derive and graphing calculators.
