Geographic Information System for a Local
Campbell County Farm.

This project's yellow shape file was created by mapping the boundaries of the farm with a hand-held global positioning (GPS) unit. Once the longitude and latitude points were gathered they were imported into ArcView via a delimited text file and subsequently converted into a shape file.
Then points of interest were taken with the GPS and imported into GIS to reveal the locations of three barns on the property. These are illustrated below in the zoomed in view of the shape file.
