Projects For Rino

The simplest project is to write a program for the robot to pick up an object and place it in another location then incorporate a loop to perform this task repeatedly. Your project should include use of the various elements in the work cell, but does not need to use all items. Students may bring in other light weight items for the robot to handle and/or make special containers to put the objects in.  Students are encouraged to use their imaginations in developing projects.

The finished project should include use of the following basic commands, be well commented including student's name, date and file name at the beginning of the program.  A written project summary should include how to set up items in the workcell before the program is run.

Commands to include:

  • type
  • rem
  • ifsig
  • open
  • close
  • wait
  • aux
  • use of subroutines
