Histogram of the Academy AwardTM Winner Data

In this activity, you will be generating a histogram using data about the ages of female Oscar winners. Since the first award ceremony in 1929, the Academy AwardTM has been the most prestigious and the most coveted achievement for those involved in the making of motion pictures.

The data set provided displays the name of each female to receive the award for best actress from 1928 to 1996, the movie she starred in, and her age when she received the Oscar. Using either Excel or the TI-83 graphing calculator, generate a histogram of the actresses' ages. This data exists in three files; one is in Excel Data format, one is in Text format, and one is in TI-83 Group format. To use the TI-83, you'll need to import the TI-83 group file.
