New Student Orientation 2016

New Student Orientation for 2016 is coming soon!
We are delighted to announce that Lynchburg College has agreed to host all three days of our New Student Orientation!  Therefore, students should be dropped off in the Snidow Chapel Circle at Lynchburg College between 8:45 and 9:00 am each day of New Student Orientation: Monday, June 13, Tuesday, June 14, and Wednesday, June 15.  A map of Lynchburg College, with a red circle around the Snidow Chapel Circle, can be found HERE.  Students will be released to be picked up at the same location at 3:00 pm each day.  Students should be dressed in school appropriate attire each day, and there will be outdoor activities planned.
Each day's agenda can be found below:

On Monday, June 13, students will be provided lunch in the LC cafeteria; the CVGS Foundation will cover the cost for all students.
On Tuesday, June 14, students should bring a packed lunch that does NOT require refrigeration.  Water and lemonade will be provided.
On Wednesday, June 15, we will have pizza for lunch and, again, the CVGS Foundation will cover the costs for all students, and water and lemonade will be provided.
Rising juniors should attend all three days of New Students Orientation.
Remember that all CVCC placement testing should be completed and results given to the Governor's School prior to the start of orientation.
