New Student Orientation 2017

New Student Orientation for 2017 is coming soon!
New Student Orientation is scheduled for Monday, June 12, Tuesday, June 13, and Wednesday, June 14.  Students should be dropped off between 8:45 and 9:00 am each day and will be released to be picked up at 3:00 pm each day.  Orientation on Monday, June 12 and Wednesday, June 14 will be at the Governor's School.  On Tuesday, June 13, we will meet at Claytor Nature Center, and directions to the Center are listed below.  Students should be dressed in school appropriate attire each day, and there will be outdoor activities planned.

Directions to Claytor Nature Center
On Monday, June 12, students should report to the Governor's School and bring a packed lunch that does NOT require refirigeration.  Water and lemonade will be provided.
On Tuesday, June 13, students schould report to Claytor Nature Center and should bring a packed lunch that does NOT require refrigeration.  Water and lemonade will be provided.
On Wednesday, June 14, students should report to the Goveror's School and we will have pizza for lunch.  Water and lemonade will be provided.  The CVGS Foundation will cover the costs for all students.
Rising juniors should attend all three days of New Students Orientation in the spring and the fourth day in the fall on Monday, August 8. 
Remember that all CVCC placement testing should be completed and results given to the Governor's School prior to the start of orientation.
CVGS will provide notebooks and pencils for New Student Orientation days.  Please bring your CVCC ID number with you on Day 1.
