CVGS Goes to Richmond

On Monday, February 9, 2015, five CVGS students went with Dr. Smith to Richmond to meet with area legislators.  The delegation included three seniors,  Dan Brown, Ravdeep Mathone, and Haley Roeser, and two juniors, Whitley Drinkard and Sam LeFew.  The students first met with House delegates Kathy Byron, Ben Cline, and Scott Garrett, and then observed the House proceedings from the Gallery and were introduced to the House by Delegate Garrett.  The students were then able to meet with Senator Steve Newman and Senator Tom Garrett's legislative aide, Mr. Kevin Reynolds.
